Frequently Asked Questions
For most people, receiving an IV is a very comfortable experience. The most common concern is mild discomfort/tenderness or bruising at the IV site. It is possible to experience headache, nausea, dizziness, or other side effects during the infusion, but these reactions are uncommon. Major side effects from IV therapy are extremely rare, but do include allergic reaction, blood pressure elevation.
You will get a Good Faith Exam via a telehealth visit from our full time Medical Director or contracted Licensed Independent Practitioner (plus any time there is a change in your medical condition or daily medications/supplements) and you will be monitored by our expert on site RN during your entire infusion to ensure that all risks are minimized.
Our RNs all have previous nursing experience and receive comprehensive training with our Director of Nursing and Medical Director to ensure they are thoroughly prepared to optimize your safety in the extremely unlikely event of any major side effects.
